Sisi sends humanitarian aid to South Sudan

Egypt's Defense Minister, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, sent a C-130 aircraft to transfer urgent humanitarian assistance to South Sudan.
 
The plane took off at dawn Friday from an Egyptian military base. It carried eights tons of food and medical supplies.
 
South Sudan has been undergoing ethnic clashes in recent days. Hundreds of people have been killed and thousands have been displaced.
